Morning Glory

Starring Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Patrick Wilson, Diane Keaton, and Jeff Goldblum

Directed by Roger Michell

Release Date: November 10, 2010

Not too soft or too serious, and a very enjoyable film. Harrison Ford is gruff, but still the enjoyable performer he has always been; Rachel McAdams is adorable as the young, up and coming producer willing to try anything and everything to make the Nation's #4 morning talk show into a hit. The movie, for the most part, is an enjoyable light-hearted comedy with quick-witted comedy and some wacky moments such as Diane keaton dressed as a sumo wrestler or the weather man (Matt Malloy) freaking out upon being forced on-camera to ride a rollercoaster. Personally, I felt that the building relationship between Ford and McAdams was far more impressive than the romantic sublot with Patrick Wilson as a fellow producer at the same News channel McAdams works at (sorry folks, but I think their begruding relationship was the crux of the movie, not the romance).

Morning Glory is a fun, enjoyable film that has some fun to it and does have a couple moments of dramatic tension.
