Plot: Piranha attack college students on a lake. No, seriously, that's as complex as the story gets, folks.
However, that doesn't make the film any less fun. Sure, it's stupid; but it's supposed to be a stupid, fun ride. Would anyone really attack Piranha with shotguns and a tazer? No, but it definitely makes for a goofy fight between the piranha and the Lake Victoria police department. But, you may wonder, did I see the 3D version? No, I didn't see the 3D version. I believe that the technology is still its' infancy and needs to be improved; until then, I'll stick with 2d. Does that make the film any worse? No, not really. Unlike other 3D movies, I found that there were little instances of "Hey! This will look awesome in 3D" distracting moments in the film.
Piranha 3D isn't perfect, but it is a silly gory piece of turn off your brain entertainment.
